  • The early 2010’s marked a “collapse in youth mental health”, with rates of anxiety, depression and self harm more than doubling in many instances. Smartphone usage has been linked to these generational epidemics. Concerned smartphone users and parents need emotional representation and investigation regarding the growing impact of smart phones to process these universal shifts.
